On 7/31/12 at 1816 hours, Zone 6 units responded to the 200 Block of Hammond Street for a PFA violation and possible armed actors. Officers quickly arrived on scene and detained several actors on the porch.

Officers arrested Alkie Grace (B/M 19 homeless) for an outstanding warrant and recovered crack cocaine from his person. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a tenant (Leroy Grace B/M 20) and the seizure of a MAC 90 assault rifle, magazine clips, 130 stamp bags of heroin, crack cocaine, vicodin pills, cash, digital scale and cell phones. Leroy Grace (photo with blue shirt) was charged with 3 counts Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Former Convict Not to Own or Possess a Firearm and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Alkie Grace (photo with white shirt) was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both actors were transported to the Allegheny County Jail. Nice work by all involved!
