Brookline is located in the South Hills section of Pittsburgh, only a couple miles from downtown, and borders Beechview, Dormont (suburb), Overbrook , Mt. Lebanon (suburb), and Baldwin (suburb). Separated by hills from the bustling industrial and technology centers of Pittsburgh, Brookline is truly a suburb in the city. The neighborhood has many active community groups, including the South Pittsburgh Development Corporation, an excellent community library, and an annual 5k Run/Walk.
The Brookline Block Watch meeting is held on the Second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. @ District Justice James Motznik's Office, 736 Brookline Boulevard.
As a community, it's imperative that our resident's remain vigilant and look out for one another on a daily basis. By working hand and hand with the police, our Block Watch can help make Brookline a better and safer place to live and work.
